WHY VISIT A BUTTERFLY HOUSE?

A visit to a butterfly house is EDUCATIONAL and ENTERTAINING for the entire family.  Young and old alike, from 4 months old to 104 years old, enjoy the experience of walking among living butterflies in a tropical garden.  At a butterfly house you can get "eye-to-eye with a butterfly" and observe these marvelous animals close-up as they fly around the exhibit, feeding on nectar from flowers or fruit juices.  Most facilities also have places where you can watch the butterflies as they emerge from their chrysalis, completing the final transformation or their metamorphosis from egg, to larva (the caterpillar), to pupa (the chrysalis) and finally to the adult butterfly.

A visit to a butterfly house is FUN!
